The Lebanese-based armed group Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for the missile attack targeting Israeli military infrastructure. According to its statement, the target of the attack was a key military installation located in the ‘Kiria’ area of central Tel Aviv .
The group said it used “specialized missiles” to strike the complex, which houses the headquarters of the Israel Defense Forces and several government offices, and also targeted a military intelligence facility north of the city.
However, Israeli authorities did not immediately respond to this claim.
Meanwhile, there are also reports of ground clashes across southern Lebanon. Hezbollah claimed that its fighters engaged in direct combat with Israeli forces in the border area and hit a Merkava tank.
