Former Bangladesh government secretary ABM Abdus Sattar has been appointed as the private secretary of BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman, and former Dhaka Reporters Unity general secretary AAM Saleh (Saleh Shibli) has been appointed as the press secretary.
This information was given in a press release signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Saturday. The release said that the appointment has been made to strengthen the party’s acting chairman’s official and media-related activities.
Earlier, ABM Abdus Sattar was serving as the private secretary of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. On the other hand, Saleh Shibli had been in various important positions, including Tarique Rahman’s press for a long time.
