Bangladesh Railway has announced a schedule for advance ticket sales to make train travel more comfortable ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr .
Authorities said that advance ticket sales for Eid will begin from March 3, and return tickets will be available from March 23.
According to railway sources, to reduce the suffering of passengers, 100% of the seats will be sold online this time too. As before, tickets will be sold on a regional schedule – tickets for intercity trains in the western region will be sold in the morning and tickets for trains in the eastern region will be sold in the afternoon.
