Who among the Prime Minister’s advisors got which office?

  • Eight advisors appointed to the rank of ministers and state ministers in the new government have been assigned portfolios, the Cabinet Division announced in a notification issued on Friday.

    Earlier, a total of 10 advisors were appointed on Tuesday. The latest notification has assigned the responsibilities of eight of them.

    According to the notification, three advisors with ministerial rank have been appointed as ‘political advisors’. They are Mirza Abbas Uddin Ahmed , Nazrul Islam Khan and Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed .

    At the same rank, Md. Ismail Zabiullah has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Public Administration and Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir has been given the Ministry of Finance.

    Brigadier General (retd) Shamsul Islam has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Defense with the rank of Minister of State . Mahdi Amin will simultaneously hold the responsibility of four ministries – Education, Primary and Mass Education, Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment, and Labor and Employment. And Rehan Asif Asad has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology and Science and Technology.

    The notification mentioned that the distribution of portfolios of State Minister-rank advisor Humayun Kabir and Dr. Zahed Ur Rahman has not yet been finalized.
