Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has ordered the implementation of a priority-based program for the next 180 days in the first cabinet meeting after the new government took office .
At a meeting held at the Secretariat on Wednesday, emphasis was placed on maintaining a comfortable environment during Ramadan, uninterrupted power supply, price control, and stable law and order situation.
After the meeting, the State Minister for Finance and Planning said that the government will soon announce a 180-day roadmap. Work has also been ordered on proposals related to market supervision during Ramadan, smooth return home during Eid, and the media commission.
The State Minister for Foreign Affairs said that every ministry must show visible results according to the people’s mandate. The State Minister for Labor and Employment said that instructions have been given to work corruption-free and take initiatives to expand the labor market in the Middle East.
