Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s name has been named in documents released by the US Department of Justice regarding notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, creating an international stir. Among the nearly three million pages of documents, a vast trove of photos and videos, some emails contain controversial claims about Modi’s visit to Israel in 2017.
According to the leaked documents, the emails claim that Modi visited Israel on Epstein’s advice to please former US President Donald Trump. The report even mentions Modi dancing and singing during the visit.
Although the release of the documents sparked intense discussion and criticism in Indian political circles, the Indian government has directly denied these allegations. The country’s Ministry of External Affairs has called them completely baseless and purposeful.
