BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has assured that a multi-storey building will be constructed and small flats will be provided to the residents of the capital’s Karail slum to ensure dignified housing.
At a prayer meeting organized by the residents of Karail in Banani’s T&T Colony on Tuesday, he said that long-time residents of Karail will be listed and flats will be handed over in their names so that they can find a place to settle down with respect in Dhaka city.
He also said that there are plans to establish clinics and hospitals to increase education, sports and healthcare opportunities in the Karail area. He also highlighted the introduction of ‘Family Card’ for the economic well-being of women.
At the event, Tarique Rahman said that BNP does politics for the welfare of the people and will continue to stand by the people of Karail in the future for their development and solving their problems.
