A delegation of the National Citizens Party (NCP) has gone to Jamuna to meet with Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus to discuss the situation arising ahead of the upcoming 13th National Assembly elections.
The delegation led by the party’s convener Nahid Islam on Monday includes spokesperson and chairman of the central election management committee Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan.
NCP leaders said that the party’s concerns and various complaints about the role and impartiality of the Election Commission may be presented in the meeting. Earlier on Sunday, Jamaat-e-Islami leaders also met the chief advisor, alleging bias in the behavior of some administration officials.
