Two petrol bombs were thrown at the Preparatory School on Iqbal Road in the capital’s Mohammadpur area late Tuesday night . The incident occurred at around 12:04 a.m., but no casualties were reported.
According to police sources, four individuals on two motorcycles arrived at the scene and hurled two petrol bombs targeting the school before fleeing on their motorcycles.
CCTV footage shows two motorcycles stopping in front of the school. The riders were wearing helmets, while the others had masks and caps on. One person got off, lit the petrol bombs, and threw them at the school before escaping with the group.
Confirming the incident, Mohammadpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kazi Rafiqul Ahmed said, “Two petrol bombs were thrown at the school. Fortunately, no one was injured. Police were dispatched to the scene immediately after the incident.
