BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed has been urgently summoned to London by the party’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman. However, the reason for the summons has not been disclosed.
According to sources, on Sunday (2 November) at 8:30 a.m., Salahuddin Ahmed departed for London from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport via a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight.
Party sources confirmed that the summons is related to an urgent meeting. BNP Media Cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan said that Salahuddin Ahmed is abroad, but the exact country is not confirmed.
No further details have been revealed, though it is speculated that the meeting may involve important discussions or strategic party decisions.
