The Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has reported that 4 people have died from dengue in the last 24 hours.
With these deaths, the total number of dengue-related fatalities this year has risen to 263. During the same period, 1,143 new patients were admitted to hospitals.
Among the deceased, 2 were from the Barishal Division, 1 from Dhaka South City, and 1 from the Rajshahi Division.
New hospitalizations include 186 in Barishal Division, 121 in Chattogram Division, 282 in Dhaka Division, 165 in Dhaka North City, 154 in Dhaka South City, 65 in Khulna Division, 56 in Mymensingh Division, 56 in Rajshahi Division, 50 in Rangpur Division, and 8 in Sylhet Division.
From January to date this year, a total of 65,440 dengue patients have been admitted to hospitals.
