A total of nine Superintendents of Police (SPs) and two Additional Superintendents of Police (ASPs) have been transferred. The Ministry of Home Affairs’ Police-1 Branch issued a notification on Sunday (October 26) announcing the changes.
The same notification also canceled the transfer orders of two other ASPs. The order was signed by Deputy Secretary Md. Mahbubur Rahman on behalf of the President.
According to the notification:
SB’s M. M. Hasanul Zahid has been transferred to the Police Academy in Sardah, Rajshahi;PBI’s Mohammad Salah Uddin Talukder to the Mymensingh Range DIG Office;Tangail PTC’s A. F. M. Al Kibria to the CID;Gaibandha In-Service Training Center’s Md. Abu Sayem Pradhan to Rangpur PTC;DMP’s Md. Shafiqul Islam to the Police Headquarters;Police Staff College’s Kazi Muhammad Shafi Iqbal to the CID;PBI’s Muhammad Kamal Hossain to the Gaibandha In-Service Training Center;APBn’s Ukya Sing to the PBI;and returning officer from a foreign mission Muhammad Ismail Hossain to the Police Headquarters.
Among the Additional Superintendents of Police:
Sanatan Chakraborty, attached to the Rangpur Range DIG Office, has been transferred to Rangpur Metropolitan Police;and Industrial Police’s Mohammad Fakhruzzaman has been transferred to the Sherpur In-Service Training Center.
Additionally, the transfer orders for PBI’s ASP Md. Abu Yusuf and RAB’s ASP Md. Zahidur Rahman to the Police Headquarters have been canceled.
