The Law and Order Advisory Council Committee has convened a meeting to review the overall law and order situation across the country, strengthen security, and determine measures to prevent violence ahead of the upcoming national parliamentary elections.
The meeting began at 11 a.m. on Sunday (October 26) at the conference room of the Ministry of Home Affairs in the Secretariat. It was presided over by Home Affairs Adviser Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury. Also present were Industry Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan, Liberation War Affairs Adviser Faruk-e-Azam, and senior officials from various ministries and departments.

During the meeting, officials emphasized the need for coordinated efforts among all agencies to maintain nationwide stability and public safety ahead of the elections.
