
The outbreak of measles continues in the country. Three more children have died of measles in the last twenty-four hours. At the same time, 872 new patients have been identified or registered with symptoms.
This information was given in the regular measles situation report of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Saturday (August 1st).
According to the report, 744 children have died of measles symptoms since March 15. Ninety-six children were also killed in the test. As a result, the total number of deaths has reached 840.
Measles have been confirmed in the last 24 hours. A total of sixteen thousand measles have been detected in the country.
At the same time, 751 people have seen new symptoms of measles. Since March 15, the number of cases with symptoms has increased to 1 lakh 29 thousand 61 people.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), 1 lakh 674 people have been admitted to the hospital with symptoms of measles so far. One lakh of them, 397, have recovered and left the hospital after treatment. Other patients are currently being treated in different hospitals across the country.
