
Seventeen more children have died of measles and measles in the country in the last 24 hours. At the same time, new measles and symptoms have been detected in the bodies of one thousand 224 people.
This information was given in the measles report published by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Monday.
According to the report, six people died in Dhaka division, three in Sylhet division and two in Rajshahi division, Chittagong division and Barisal division. A child was also killed in Mymensingh division. At the same time, another person died of measles in Dhaka division.
The total number of measles and symptoms across the country from March 15 to Monday stood at 545. This includes the death of measles. At the same time, a total of 8 thousand 719 people have been identified across the country and measles have been found in 64 thousand 940 people.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), a total of 51 thousand 585 people have been admitted to hospital with measles and its symptoms since March 15th. Forty-seven thousand of them were discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment.
