A total of 58 thousand people were hospitalized with measles and symptoms from March 15 to Wednesday. Thirty-three thousand of them have returned home after treatment.
Public health experts say the situation is getting complicated due to shortages in children’s vaccination programs, lack of awareness and the limitations of healthcare in some areas. They urged the parents to be aware of the rapid mass vaccination, identifying the affected areas and introducing special healthcare activities and making parents aware.
