This year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will start from July 2nd, said the education minister. I’m meeting of Ehsanul Haque. The decision was taken at a virtual meeting held with the education board chairmans on Saturday.
According to the ministry sources, the necessary preparations have already been started to complete the examinations in a smooth and orderly manner. At the same time, the education minister also confirmed the launch of the examination on his own social media.
Earlier, the Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education published the list of HSC examination centres in 2026. It includes the code number of each examination centre, the relevant colleges, the center secretaries and the caretaker officials.
According to the instructions of the board, the central secretaries will collect the prescribed fees from the concerned educational institutions and receive the necessary confidential documents through the district administration. The Centre has been directed to strictly follow the prescribed policies in conducting the examinations.
Special attention has been paid to post-test activities. According to the directive, the OMR part of the answer sheet should be sent to the computer center of the board by post by mail by evening at the end of the day. Besides, other answer sheets should be sent to the examination regulator’s office in the prescribed process.
Education stakeholders feel that the announcement and preparation of the next schedule will reduce the uncertainty between the examinees and parents and make it easier to ensure transparency and discipline in the examination management.
