BNP standing committee member Mirza Abbas has improved his health condition. He was transferred from the Critical Care Unit (CCU) of Singapore General Hospital to the General Cabin.
According to party sources, the decision was taken on the basis of observation of doctors in the early hours of Friday. At present, he is speaking on a limited scale as advised by doctors and is gradually moving towards recovery.
Shairul Kabir Khan, a member of BNP’s media cell, told the media that Mirza Abbas was taken to Singapore by air ambulance from a private hospital in Dhaka on March 15 for better treatment. He has been undergoing treatment at Singapore General Hospital.
Doctors said his condition was being continuously improved and the next treatment plan would be determined accordingly.
