The public life of Chuadanga has been devastated by the sudden rise in temperature. For the first time in the current season, the temperature has reached 38.5 degrees Celsius, which is causing moderate heat wave in the district.
The temperature recorded at 3pm on Thursday (April 2nd) was 34 percent with the humidity of the air, which increased the intensity of the heat. The temperature was 36.3 degrees Celsius in the same period the previous day.
Drivers and people are the most affected by the heat. There is a long wait for a long time at various petrol pumps to collect fuel, which has further increased the suffering.
The impact of extreme heat wave has also seen pitch softening of pitches on some roads in the city, which poses a new risk to movement.
Local residents complain that physical illness is increasing and performance is decreasing due to prolonged sun exposure. Especially in the midst of the hot weather, the day labourers are being forced to continue their livelihoods.
According to the Chuadanga Meteorological Observatory, the current heat wave is likely to continue for a few more days, so there is a possibility of suffering in public life.
