The ongoing session of the 13th National Parliament has been adjourned until March 29. Speaker Major (Retd.) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed made the announcement at the end of the second day of the session on Sunday.
The Speaker said that the next meeting of Parliament will be held on March 29 at 3 pm. He thanked the members of Parliament for their cooperation in conducting the session and also extended Eid greetings in advance.
Earlier, the second day of the session began at 11 am on Sunday. The meeting began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and was presided over by Speaker Major (Retd.) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed.
Leader of the House and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman were present at the session. Opposition Leader Shafiqur Rahman also participated in the meeting.
