The government has appointed new administrators to six city corporations across the country, including the two city corporations in the capital. The Local Government Department issued a notification in this regard on Sunday.
According to the notification, Md. Abdus Salam has been appointed as the administrator of Dhaka South City Corporation and Md. Shafiqul Islam Khan has been given the responsibility of Dhaka North City Corporation .
Apart from this, Nazrul Islam Manju has been appointed as the administrator of Khulna City Corporation , Abdul Qayyum Chowdhury as the administrator of Sylhet City Corporation , Md. Sakhawat Hossain Khan as the administrator of Narayanganj City Corporation and Md. Shawkat Hossain Sarkar as the administrator of Gazipur City Corporation .
