DUCSU VP Sadiq Qaim has given the government a 48-hour ultimatum to the government. He wants the resignation of the home, law and foreign advisers if their demands are not met.

After the meeting with Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, he told reporters that all the direct attackers, planners and auxiliaries involved in the attack on Sharif Osman Hadi should be arrested immediately. At the same time, he demanded that the negligence of the state agencies, including the intelligence agencies, be investigated and held accountable.
Sadiq claimed that the verdict of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was brought back to the country as a first step against Indian supremacy and executed the verdict on crimes against humanity. He also called for a reconsideration of diplomatic relations with India.
He added that all illegal weapons should be recovered by launching a area-based operation against the banned League within the next 48 hours. The government will no longer be re-elected.
Sadiq said the concerned advisers should resign if the demands are not implemented quickly and if there is no visible change in the law and order situation.
After the meeting, home adviser Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said the demands were “logical” and the government will take initiative to implement them.
