A fire broke out in a 10-storey building in the Aganagar area of Keraniganj in the capital. Twelve units of the fire service are working to control the fire that broke out in the early hours of the morning.
The fire service received a report of the fire at 5:37 am on Saturday (December 13). Authorities said the fire started on the ground floor of the building called Jamela Tower.
Fire Service Control Room In-charge Shahjahan said that units from Keraniganj, Sadarghat and Siddiqbazar fire stations are simultaneously trying to control the fire.
The cause of the fire was not known at the time of writing, but the fire service said there were no reports of casualties.
