The schedule for the parliamentary elections will be announced on Thursday at 6 pm—Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin will make the announcement in an address to the nation. Election Commission Secretary Akhtar Ahmed confirmed the matter.
The CEC recorded a speech announcing the schedule for Bangladesh Television and Betar at the Election Building in Agargaon on Wednesday afternoon. After the recording, the commissioners met in the CEC’s room and completed last-minute discussions on the election process.
The EC secretary said that all preparations are now in the final stages. The 13th National Parliament election will officially begin with the announcement on Thursday.
