Former Pakistani Prime Minister and PTI founding chairman Imran Khan is in complete health, his sister Uzma Khan has said.
He made this announcement to reporters after a meeting with his brother at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi on Tuesday (December 2), ending speculation about Imran Khan’s health over the past few weeks.
Uzma Khan said, “I will discuss with the sisters and provide more details.” After a long wait, she received official permission to enter the prison for the first time and promised to speak to the media after the meeting.
Meanwhile, high-level security has been taken in the Adiala Jail area in view of Imran Khan’s visit. Five additional check posts have been set up on the prison road; 12 police stations, including women police, and more than 700 security personnel have been deployed, along with anti-riot equipment. Only vehicles are allowed to enter after passing strict checks.
