President Mohammad Shahabuddin has expressed deep concern over the deteriorating physical condition of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and sought prayers from the countrymen for her speedy recovery.
In a message sent by Assistant Private Secretary Mohammad Sagar Hossain on Saturday, the President said, “I wish Begum Khaleda Zia good health at this important time of the transition to democracy. I pray to Almighty Allah for her speedy recovery and at the same time I seek the prayers of the countrymen.”
After learning about the deterioration of Khaleda Zia’s physical condition, who is undergoing treatment at the hospital, the President also expressed deep concern over the situation.
