Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has received the investigation report on the October 18 fire at the cargo complex of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. The report was handed over to him on Tuesday.
Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said that the initial investigation identified an electrical short circuit as the source of the fire . The report includes all information, from the damage to the fire incident.
The fire, which started on the afternoon of October 18 , burned for about 17 hours , destroying a large portion of the import cargo, causing significant disruption to the airport’s supply chain.
