Police have arrested 1,649 people across the country in the past 24 hours, including several individuals named as accused in various cases.
During the operation, law enforcers recovered firearms, gunpowder, and crude explosives (cocktails) from different locations.
The information was shared today, Tuesday, through an official message from the Police Headquarters.
According to the headquarters, police seized 10 firearms, 30.5 kilograms of gunpowder, ammunition, and cocktail bombs during the nationwide drive, alongside making the 1,649 arrests.
