Significant progress has been made in the case filed over the alleged planned murder of Dhallywood’s immortal actor Salman Shah (Chowdhury Mohammad Shahriar Imon). On Monday, it was revealed that one of the accused, film villain Don, is expected to surrender to the police in a few days. Don stated that he has been suffering for 30 years and a resolution to this matter is necessary.
Don said, “Everyone says I am on the run. I haven’t run for 30 years, why would I now? I am at home. I am thinking of surrendering to the police in a few days.” He further mentioned that loving Salman brought immense hardship into his life, but the truth will come out one day.
Recalling his last meeting with Salman Shah, Don said that on August 30, he arrived in Dhaka from Chittagong. Salman had mentioned that he would join the shooting of the film ‘Ananda Oshru’ on September 3. But within two days, Don received the shocking news—Salman Shah had passed away.
Salman Shah entered the film industry in 1993 with the movie ‘Qayamat Theke Qayamat’. In just three and a half years of acting, he won the hearts of audiences. Some of his notable films include Qayamat Theke Qayamat, Den Mohor, Tomake Chai, Bikkhov, Ananda Oshru, Chawa Theke Pawa, Bichar Hobe, Jibon Songsar, Mohamilon, Swapner Prithibi, Swapner Thikana, and Ei Ghor Ei Songsar.
