The results of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Board of Directors election have been announced. According to the constitution, 23 directors were elected from three categories, and 2 more were elected under the NSC quota.
Category-1 (District and Division quota) elected directors:
Chattogram Division: Ahsan Iqbal Chowdhury, Asif Akbar
Khulna: Abdur Razzak Raj, Zulfikar Ali Khan
Dhaka: Nazmul Abedin Fahim, Aminul Islam Bulbul
Barishal: Sakhawat Hossain
Sylhet: Rahat Shams
Rajshahi: Mokhlesur Rahman
Rangpur: Hasanuzzaman
Category-2 (Dhaka Club quota) elected directors:
Ishtiaq Sadeq, Shanian Tanin, Mehrab Alam Chowdhury, Faruk Ahmed, Amjad Hossain, Moksedul Kamal, Manjurul Alam, Adnan Rahman Dipon, Abul Bashar Shiplu, Iftikhar Rahman Mithu, Faijur Rahman, Nazmul Islam.
Category-3 (Former cricketers & government/autonomous institutions quota) elected director:
Khaled Masud Pilot
NSC quota elected directors:
M. Ishfaq Ahsan and Yasir Mohammad Faisal Ashik
The voting took place today, Monday, October 6, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at a five-star hotel in Dhaka. The 25 elected directors will vote to elect the BCB President and 2 Vice-Presidents.
