Prime minister Tarique Rahman said this at a rally in front of BNP’s Naya Paltan central office on Saturday (November 7th) afternoon before a procession organised on the occasion of National Revolution and Solidarity Day.
In his speech, the Prime Minister said that the conspiracy has started again like in the past. The rebels want to protect the sovereignty of the country. So everyone must be united like 1971, November 7th and 2024. The conspirators must break the poisons of the country to protect the independence and sovereignty of the country.
He said the people of the country were subjected to bakshal by tarnishing the independence and sovereignty achieved in 1971. On November 7, 1975, the unified forces of the Sepahi-people defeated that group.
Tarique Rahman was present at the rally in front of BNP’s Naya Paltan central office on Saturday afternoon. He was greeted with a warm welcome in the presence of millions of people. The BNP chairman responded to the greetings of the leaders and the common people. He later addressed the meeting.
At the end of the speech, a ‘sovereignty’ procession started in front of the BNP’s central office under Tarique Rahman’s leadership. A large number of leaders and activists of different levels including BNP and its associates Sramik Dal, Krishak Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal and others took part in the programme.
The festive atmosphere was created in Naya Paltan and surrounding areas. The leaders had banners, festoons and party slogans in their hands.
The presence of horse carriages and elephants creates increased attraction in the procession. People flocked to the side of the road to see this event. The entire area became the face of the crowd with huge processions, banners, festoons and activists.
