The measles situation in the country is alarming. In the last 24 hours, 8 more children have died due to measles symptoms. At the same time, 1,152 children have been infected with measles and measles symptoms.

The report said that while 8 children died with measles symptoms in the last 24 hours, no child died due to confirmed measles. With this, the number of children who died with measles symptoms across the country since March 15 has reached 1,020. During the same period, 102 more children have died due to confirmed measles. As a result, the total number of deaths due to measles and measles symptoms has reached 1,122.
According to the Department of Health, 43 new children have been confirmed to be infected with measles in the last 24 hours. And 1,109 children have been infected with measles symptoms. During this time, 1,03 children have been admitted to the hospital and 823 children have been discharged after treatment.
According to the Department of Health, a total of 195,197 suspected measles patients have been identified in the country from March 15 to Saturday. During this period, the number of confirmed measles patients is 21,666.
So far, a total of 173,240 people have been hospitalized with measles and measles symptoms. Of these, 167,756 have been discharged after treatment and returned home.
