Dengue fever is continuing in the country. Eight more people have died of dengue in the last 24 hours. At the same time, two thousand 36 people have been admitted to different hospitals in the country.
The data was published on the dashboard of the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Monday.
The total number of dengue deaths has increased to 233 this year. As of September 28, a total of 75 thousand 730 people have been admitted to different hospitals in the country with dengue this year.
Among the patients admitted to the hospital in the last 24 hours, there are 254 people in the Barisal division, 323 in Chittagong division, 432 in the area outside the city corporation of Dhaka division, 206 in Dhaka North City Corporation and 169 in Dhaka South City Corporation.
Besides, 267 people were admitted to Khulna division, 115 in Mymensingh division, 197 in Rajshahi division, 62 in Rangpur division and 11 in Sylhet division.
According to the Department of Health, a total of 70 thousand 258 people have been discharged from the hospital after being infected with dengue so far this year. As a result, the pressure of dengue patients is currently continuing in different hospitals across the country.
