5 more children die from measles and measles-related symptoms; total death toll reaches 943

  • The situation in the country continues to deteriorate. Five more children have died of measles and measles in the last 24 hours. At the same time, thousands of children have been infected with new measles and measles.

Ninety-three children lost their lives due to the symptoms of measles and measles.

    Nineteen new cases of measles have been reported in the last twenty-four hours. Ninety-eight children were also infected with measles. At the same time, 890 new patients were admitted to the hospital and an equal number of patients received clearance at the end of treatment.

    According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), the number of suspected measles patients in the country stood at 1 lakh 51 thousand 638 from March 15 to Tuesday. Eighteen thousand measles have been identified at this time.

    Thirty-two thousand people have been hospitalized so far. At the end of the treatment, one lakh 27 thousand 811 people have returned home.

    According to the Department of Health, the pressure on measles and measles patients in the country is still at a significant level. The death of children, in particular, has raised new concerns about the situation.
