Bangladeshi businessman Abul Moaz has filed a formal criminal complaint with the Italian law enforcement agencies Carabiinieri – Roma Accilia Station, accusing him of cheating the band ‘Nagar Baul James’.
According to the charge sheet, the complaint was formally accepted and registered at the Rome-Achilia Carabiniary station at 11:20am on August 21, 2026. The complainant, Abul Moaz, was born on 18 November 1988, a Bangladeshi citizen and a businessman living in Rome.
According to the complaint, he paid a total of €35,000 in cash to host the scheduled concerts in Rome and Venice of the ‘Nagar Bowl James’ band. The money was given on the basis of an agreement signed with Thakur Rubaiyat, mentioned as the manager of the band.
However, the complainant claimed that he was cheated as the scheduled show was not held. He referred to the incident as a “truffa” (cheating) in accordance with the Italian Penal Code and sought legal action against those responsible.
The document also mentions that the complaint is a total of seventeen pages and the details of the incident are attached. The complainant formally signed his statement and confirmed the authenticity of every part of the complaint.
According to police documents, the alleged fraud case was reported to have taken place in Rome between August 9 and August 21, 2026. Abul Moaz has been referred to as a victim.
According to the documents, the complainant has appealed to the Italian authorities to take criminal action against the persons involved in the incident and ensure their punishment according to the law.
In this context, Abul Moaz said, “What Robin has done with our organization is nothing but a direct fraud. Although there are two concerts in Rome and Venice, Robin has appointed another host in Venice. The money was not returned to the contract. We are forced to take legal action.
On the other hand, Robin, the manager of the band, said the tendency to blame the artist is not new if the organizers do not meet the financial expectations. “If the show is not crowded, if the house is not full or the organizers can’t get the expected profit, we try to put the blame on us. It’s sad.” He also stressed that other organizers have been appointed in Venice on the basis of the discussion of both.
