Four more members are joining the cabinet led by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. Newly elected President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will administer the oath of office at Bangabhaban on Friday (August 21st).
The information has been confirmed by the Department of Justice.
The four new ministers are members of the BNP standing committee. Abdul Moyeen Khan MP, Jatiya Party chairman Barrister Andalib Rahman Partha MP, MP from Bandarban Saching Pru Jerry and Gaibandha-4 MP Mohammad Shamim Kaiser Lincoln.
A view of more changes
Officials of the cabinet division said that in addition to joining four new members, there could be more changes in the cabinet. As part of this, there is a possibility of restributing or changing responsibilities in the aviation, agriculture, food, power and energy, local government and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
However, it is not yet known who will change the responsibilities of the ministry.
