
The Bangladesh Press Club, France has launched its new organization with a commitment to practicing objective journalism and strengthening the unity of Bangladeshi journalists abroad.
The organization’s new executive committee, consisting of 11 members, was announced at a general meeting held at an auditorium in Paris on Thursday afternoon.
Iqbal Mohammad Zafar unveiled the names of the committee on behalf of the organization. Shah Suhel Ahmed was elected as the president and Ashiq Ahmed Ullas was elected as the general secretary.

Vice-President: Jan-e-Alam, Joint General Secretary: Abu Bakar Al Amin, Treasurer: Saiful Islam Roni, Publicity Secretary: Tanvir Talukder, Sports and Cultural Secretary: Nipu Barua, Office Secretary: Mohammad Kaiser Ahmed, Executive Members: Badal Pal, Iqbal Mohammad Zafar and Shahad Uddin, After assuming responsibility, the leaders of the organization said that the main goal of the Press Club will be to protect the professional rights of journalists working in France, increase mutual cooperation among themselves and maintain the standards of objective journalism. In addition, this organization will work to portray a positive image of Bangladesh in the international arena and to more strongly highlight the news of the happiness, sorrow and success of the expatriates.
