
Hazrat Shahjalal (R.A.) of Sylhet The newly established monster box has been opened for the third time in about thirty-four days after the shrine.
The counting of money in public started from 10am on Saturday (August 15th) to the premises of the shrine from 10am till the evening.
At the end of the count, cash was received from five degs and three major monster boxes. In addition, 2 mass gold, 16-million 2 silver and foreign exchange from different countries are available.
Sylhet City Corporation administrator Abdul Quayum Chowdhury confirmed this to Prothom Alo.
Foreign currencies found in the shrine include British pounds, Indian and Pakistani rupees, Saudi riyals, Malaysian ringgit, US dollar, Nepali rupee, Omani currency, UAE Dirham, Iraqi lira, Turkish lira, Vietnamese dong, Japanese yen, Qatari riyals, Lebanese and Egyptian pounds, euros, Bahraini and Canadian currencies.
Besides, the calculations of cows, goats, poultry and chickens given as surveillance at the shrine have also been made separately.
How much money is spent in the previous two
Two phases have been opened since the construction of a new box. For the first time, on June 22nd, the Vandax received Rs 17 lakh 549.
Then on the second time on July 11th, the Vanax was opened for 47 lakh rupees and Rs 153 lakh. In two phases, a total of Rs 64 lakh was found in Bangladeshi currency. Apart from this, foreign exchange and other items were also included in the market.
Thirty-four days later, the opening of the monster box was expected to get more money than the previous two rounds. However, this time, the accounts of Deg, Cheg and Danax have been given separately.
