In the last twenty-four hours, seven children have been infected with measles. Seventy-eight children have been infected with the virus. During this time, 700 children have been admitted to the hospital and 549 people have been discharged after treatment.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), the number of suspected measles patients in the country from March 15 to now is 1 lakh 41 thousand 776 people. The number of confirmed measles patients is seventeen thousand eight thousand.
At the same time, a total of 23 thousand 494 patients with measles and its symptoms were admitted to the hospital. At the end of treatment, one lakh 89 thousand people have already been discharged from the hospital.
As the number of measles and symptoms exceeds 900, the importance of vaccination, rapid detection and strengthening of medical care has increased to control the spread of the disease.
