
Three more people have died of dengue in the country in the last two weeks. At the same time, 463 new dengue patients have been admitted to different hospitals in the country.
This information was given in the notification issued by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Thursday (July 30th).
According to the notification, the highest number of newly admitted patients in Dhaka division is 189. Besides, 69 people were admitted in Chittagong, 67 in Barisal, 62 in Khulna, 32 in Rajshahi, 21 in Mymensingh, 20 in Rangpur and three in Sylhet division.
As of July 30 this year, a total of 153 people have been hospitalized with dengue in the country. Thirty-three people died of dengue.
Thirteen thousand 931 patients have been discharged from the hospital after treatment. At present, one thousand 169 dengue patients are being treated in different hospitals across the country.
In comparison, 1 lakh 2 thousand 861 people were infected with dengue in the country in 2025 and 413 people died that year.
