Japan started playing attacking football from the start of the match. They took the lead in just 4 minutes through a goal by Daichi Kamada. After the quick goal, Japan took complete control of the match and put pressure on the Tunisian defense.
Ayase Ueda doubled the lead in the 31st minute of the first half. His goal gave Japan a comfortable lead going into the break.
Japan continued to attack in the second half. Junya Ito scored his third goal in the 69th minute to seal the match. Ueda then scored his second goal in the 83rd minute to secure a 4-0 victory for the team.
Tunisia did not create many attacking opportunities throughout the match. The North African team was helpless against Japan’s organized defense and fast-paced attacks.
With this win, Japan secured three important points in the group stage. On the other hand, Tunisia faced a difficult equation in the fight to advance to the knockout stage due to the large defeat.
