Anti-Corruption Commission ( ACC ) Chairman Dr. Mohammad Abdul Momen and two commissioners— Mian Muhammad Ali Akbar Azizi and Hafiz Ahsan Farid— have resigned.
On Tuesday (March 3), they formally submitted their resignations to the Cabinet Division of the Secretariat.
At noon, the three top officials of the commission entered the Cabinet Division building together and left within a short time after submitting their resignations. Later, when asked by reporters, Commissioner Mian Muhammad Ali Akbar Azizi said that there was no pressure – this decision was taken through a regulatory process.
