Dr. Abdullah Zafar H. Bin Abia , who is posted in Dhaka, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister of Bangladesh Tarique Rahman . The meeting took place at the Cabinet Division of the Secretariat on Sunday (February 22) morning.
The Ambassador congratulated the Prime Minister on the formation of the government and his assumption of office and conveyed a congratulatory message from the Saudi Crown Prince. The meeting discussed bilateral relations, socio-economic cooperation and issues of mutual interest between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia .
Earlier, when the Prime Minister joined her official duties at the Secretariat around 9 am, she was welcomed by Principal Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar.
