The National Citizens Party (NCP) is going to formally sign the July National Charter today, Monday. A short message sent by the party said that a delegation will arrive at the State Guest House Jamuna at 6 pm.
The delegation, led by NCP convener Nahid Islam , includes member secretary Akhtar Hossain, joint conveners Sarwar Tushar, Javed Rasin and Monira Sharmin, and joint member secretary Zahirul Islam Musa.
Earlier, on October 17 last year, leaders of 25 political parties signed the July National Charter in the presence of Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor to the interim government, at the South Plaza of the National Parliament.
