BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has arrived at the state guest house Jamuna with his family for a courtesy call on the interim government’s chief advisor, Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus.
He arrived there at around 7:30 pm on Thursday. He was accompanied by his wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman and daughter Barrister Zaima Rahman.
This is Tarique Rahman’s first meeting with the chief advisor after taking charge as BNP chairman. Earlier, the two leaders had a private meeting in London, UK last year, but this is the first official meeting after returning to the country. The meeting is being seen as significant in the political arena.
