The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in the private sector has been reduced for consumers. The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced on Tuesday (October 7) that the price of a 12 kg cylinder has been set at 1,241 Taka for October, down 29 Taka from last month’s price of 1,270 Taka. The new price will be effective from 6 PM.
BERC Chairman Jalal Ahmed stated that the 12 kg cylinder price, previously 1,270 Taka in September, has been reduced by 29 Taka. Earlier, the price was reduced by 91 Taka in August, 28 Taka in June, and 39 Taka in July.
The price of autogas has also been adjusted, set at 58.28 Taka per liter for October. LPG prices in the country are regularly revised according to market conditions.
