Popular Bangladeshi singer Tahsan Khan, who has captivated music lovers for over two decades, has hinted at ending his long musical journey.
During a recent concert in Australia, in front of thousands of fans, Tahsan announced that this would be his last concert. He said, “Gradually, I will wind down my music career. My daughter is growing up—now does it really feel right to stand on stage with a beard and jump around like before?”
He also revealed that he has already deactivated all his social media accounts. While Tahsan did not explicitly use the word “retirement,” his remarks suggest that he will no longer be regularly active in the music industry.
Tahsan’s musical journey began in 2004 with the album Kichu Kotha. Earlier, in 1998, he co-founded the band Black and lent his voice to several of its popular tracks. In 2012, he formed a new band, Tahsan and the Sufis. He also runs his own studio, Krityodaser Abash.
Over the years, songs like Chokhe Chokhe Kotha Hoto, Jodi Konodin, Chole Jao Tobe, Alo, Chhuye Dile Mon, Kotodur, and Prem Tumi have remained timeless favorites among his fans.
