Seven more people have died of dengue in the country in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 593 people have been admitted to different hospitals in the country with dengue.
This information was given in a press release on dengue sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Tuesday.
According to the notification, among the patients admitted to the hospital in the last 24 hours, there are 159 people in the Barisal division, 165 in Chittagong, 383 in the outside area of Dhaka division, 171 in Dhaka North City Corporation and 132 in Dhaka South City Corporation.
Besides, 290 dengue patients were admitted to Khulna division, 82 in Mymensingh, 137 in Rajshahi, 65 in Rangpur and nine in Sylhet division.
The death toll from dengue has risen to 164 this year with the death of seven new people. At the same time, a total of 55 thousand 163 people were admitted to the hospital with dengue.
