Prime Minister calls for vigilance to thwart attempts to disrupt communal harmony

  • Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has said that some are trying to incite people using social media to destabilise the country. He urged all to be careful so that no one can destroy the communal harmony.

    The prime minister said this while addressing a function marking the Auspicious Janmashtami at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital on Thursday (September 3rd).

    Tarique Rahman said it is not important to consider people as a minority or a majority on a global scale. It is everyone’s responsibility to maintain harmony and harmony in the society.

    He urged all to be careful so that no evil force can destroy communal harmony.

    The Prime Minister said the government believes in political and economic empowerment of all citizens and the government is committed to ensuring the rights of citizens.

    He said the government will ensure the safety of people of all faiths.

    Prime Minister Tarique Rahman handed over the financial assistance cheques to nine servants and priests.
