US President Donald Trump has said that even if oil prices increase in the global market, it could be positive for the US economy. He made this claim in a post on his social media platform ‘Truth Social’.
In the post, Trump wrote that the United States is currently one of the world’s largest oil producers. As a result, if oil prices increase in the international market, the country can receive significant economic benefits through production and exports.
But he said that beyond the question of economic gain, his administration’s main concern is Iran’s nuclear program. In Trump’s words, preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons is a key goal of US security policy.
He also said that it is necessary to prevent Iran’s efforts to acquire nuclear capabilities in the interests of Middle East stability and global security.
